Danfoss Case Story

The goal of the project was to put new products on the global market, faster, by creating an online training platform for all Danfoss sales staff, as well as for distributors and clients.

The solution delivered by Futurecom was a training platform consisting of a course administration tool, Futurecom Course Manager, and an online training solution, AT&T Connect.

Danfoss experienced a dramatically faster introduction of new products, as well as a directly measurable reduction of the number of returned goods.


Danfoss is one of the largest industrial companies in Denmark. The group is a global leader within research, development and production, sales and service of mechanical and electronic components for several industries. Danfoss is an international company present in 22 countries.

Lundbeck Case Story

The vision that Lundbeck had for implementing Live Meetings and Communicator was to support their operational principles of:

Futurecom helped Lundbeck to develop, define and carry out the intensive Communication campaign related to the launch
The online training conducted by Futurecom was also a key element in the success Lundbeck had. Within just a few weeks thousands of users had started to use the new communication tools - in a confident way

Banedanmark Case Story

In the autumn 2010, Banedanmark implemented a complete Microsoft Unified Communications solution, based on Office Communication Server, and later on Microsoft Lync Server.

Through our cooperation with Banedanmark, it became possible for them to develop and offer training on a really high level to a significant group of employees in a very short period of time.


Banedanmark is a 100% government owned company that runs the government owned railway infrastructure. Banedanmark belongs to the Transport Ministery.

The company was created the 1st of january 1997, and today has a turnover of approximately 1 billion danish crowns, and employs approximately 2,060 employees.

 

EnergiMidt Case Story

EnergiMidt have implemented Microsoft Lync for all of their employees. They use it for chat, telephone, video meetings and web conferences.
Futurecom is helping EnergiMidt with the training in how to effectively use Microsoft Lync and how to ensure a successful adoption in the organisation.

The goal of the project is to insure EnergiMidt draws as significant a strategic and economical value as possible, as for example: higher efficiency, fewer CO2 emission, reduction of travelling costs, better communication between locations...


EnergiMidt is a modern energy (electricity and heat) and broadband company. They supply 176,000 electricity customers, 18,000 heat customers and 20,000 fibre customers. EnergiMidt is also  involved in various activities within solar cells and energy consulting abroad as well.

KL Case Story

There is a great need for communication in Denmark's many communes, and thousands of persons work together accross the different communes.

KL chose a Spontania solution for web and video meetings, and to be able to start working with it immediatly, they chose to have it hosted by Futurecom.
This solution offered many functionalities that improved KL's communication. It also helped increase efficiency and save on ressources, for instance save time on travels, or make faster decisions.


KL is an interest organisation for the 98 communes in Denmark. All danish communes are a member of KL. KL consists of a political board and approx. 400 employees. KL works in close cooperation with the communes for the sake of danish citizens.

Danske Bank Case Story

Danske Bank had used an AT&T web conferencing solution for 2 years, without the solution really being adopted by the organisation: the users were not using the solution.

Futurecom helped Danske Bank with the organisational implementation of web conferences.

Danske Bank achieved a significant increase in the usage of web conferences. In just 4 months, the amount of web conferences increased by over 900%, up to 20 minutes per employee per month. The usage has increased steadily afterwards.


Danske Bank is Denmark's biggest bank, with 300 filials, 2,2 million private clients, a significant share of the key corporations in Denmark as well as public organisations and institutions. Danske Bank offers Danish and international clients a wide range of advice and concrete banking services.

Kvadrat Case Story

Because Kvadrat's products are produced and sold all over the world, communication with the production units is crucial, as well as with the points of sale, partners and clients.

Kvadrat chose a Spontania solution which is a web and videomeeting solution.
This solution gave Kvadrat a range of functionalities that improved communication, as well as efficiency, while it also helps saving on ressources.
Kvadrat realized that they are having more meetings than before, but that the meetings are shorter since there is not as much wasted time in virtual meetings.


Kvadrat was established in Denmark in 1968 and now holds a leading position in the European market of design-textiles supplying renowned architects, designers and furniture manufacturers throughout the world, for use in upholstery and curtain.

Sampo Bank Case Story

When Danske Bank took over the Finish bank Sampo Bank in 2006, a challenge was awaiting: Sampo Bank's 3,500 employees had to be transfered to Danske Bank's IT systems.

The decision was made that web- and videomeetings would be the determining tool, if the migration should happen smoothly. Futurecom was to deliver both the technology and the training. AT&T Connect was chosen as the most appropriate solution.

Danske Bank noticed in the process that Futurecom's advice was crucial to help them choose the right solution, and they were really satisfied with the outcome of the project.


Sampo Bank is a part of the Danske Bank Group, which is one of the largest financial enterprises in the Nordic region. Sampo Bank has more than 1.1 million personal customers and more than 100,000 corporate and institutional customers in Finland.

Niras Case Story

Because of its many offices all over the world, Niras' need for communication is crucial, from the head office to the local offices, between local offices, as well as between worldwide located consultants.
The chosen solution helps NIRAS saving on travel expenses and CO2 emissions, and lead to an improved communication and cooperation, which all in all helped to improve the organisation's efficiency and results for the clients.
By the end of the first year, NIRAS had already experienced great savings which resulted in an 100% return on investment on the whole project in only 3 months.

Jyske Bank Case Story

Jyske Bank has been using Microsoft Communicator and Live Meeting for the past 3 years.
As they are upgrading their system to the OCS R2 version the focus has been on increasing the use of chat, telephone, video meetings and web conferences.
The goal of this project is to ensure that Jyske Bank gets the highest strategical and economical value out of their solutions.
Futurecom is therefore helping Jyske Bank doing so through Change Management and Organisational Implementation.


Jyske Bank is a bank organisation with activities in Denmark and abroad. It was created in 1967 and calls Silkeborg (Jutland) for its home town.
It is the third biggest financial institution on the Danish market and the second biggest Danish owned financial institution.

Jyske Bank has approximately 3.700 employees and over 110 Danish filials.

Alectia Case Story

ALECTIA has with advice from Futurecom chosen to implement a Unified Communication solution based on Microsoft Lync Online - part of Office365.
The solution is a key element in the achievement of several of ALECTIAs' strategic goals, ie. creating a basis for managers and employees to work together more closely and effectively, while enhancing dialogue across geographical distances.
The vision is that Lync must always act as a natural tool in the company's daily work and communication. All 700 employees are to receive training, with focus on how the solution can help them in their own work tasks.
